Hi, I’m David
I’ve been lucky enough to call Indiana home my entire life. After graduating from Purdue University, I’ve focused on two things: adventure and authentic storytelling. These passions are the foundation of my career and life.
I’ve always been a noticer with an eye for spotting patterns—both visual and emotional.
I believe that truly seeing someone is the best way to honor them, so I strive to capture your human, honest story with an artful touch.
My commitment to storytelling runs deep—like that time I spent five hours getting the perfect shot of the moon. Just imagine how much further I’d go to capture your story.
When I’m not behind the camera, you might find me enjoying a craft beer, catching a perfect sunrise, or debating the finer points of Star Wars.

I have hired David twice as a photographer. The first event was my Oath of Office as I was commissioned into the US Navy, and I reached out to David two days prior to the event to which he readily responded and immediately began preparing. As a professional, he is diligent in his work and patient in both a crowded setting or one-on-one session.
Oftentimes, during a shoot, people struggle to choose a pose or maximize the aspects of their setting, such as background and lighting. When I encountered this, David had exceptional ideas and was willing to shoot photos from a variety of angles and locations. With his attention to detail and experience, many of the photos he captured from my events turned out better than I ever envisioned and are now keepsakes. I could not be more pleased with his skills.
